We
recognize the many changes that are affecting the school food
service industry today. Because of these changes, we have recognized
the importance of creating a dedicated educational sales and
service department within our company. Over the past three years,
Progressive Food Marketers has been committed to expanding our staff
to include our Education School Specialist position. Cheryl Pratt
has taken on this role as our School Specialist. Effective May 1,
2006 we have expanded this department to include David Highland, assisting
Cheryl in supporting, and educating our customers in finding value
added products to help increase your daily lunch participation and
commodity reprocessing.
Our
commitment to the School Food Service business has lead Progressive
to become members of the following organizations; ACDA (American
Commodity Distribution Association), ILSNA and SNA.
These organizations allow us to continually train and gain insight into
the areas of commodity reprocessing, wellness plans, junk food bans
and much more.
